His knees ached and he was on the path to developing metabolic syndrome, the very condition this “evidence-based” diet was supposed to prevent. Two years ago, Dr. Berry went out on a limb and tried a meat-only (carnivore) diet. Although there are zero published human trials supporting this way of eating, Dr. Berry’s blood sugar markers dramatically improved.
